Started Fireman's litigation for Equal Employment Opportunity against the L.A. County and City Fire Departments. Result: after three years, won the case. Fire Departments in the city and county were put under a twenty five year court order to correct the racial imbalance of employees. All Fire Departments across the United States were affected by this Federal judgment.
